How it works

  • A front porch with a dark gray door, house number 1427, a light fixture on the wall, colorful tiled steps, a pink bucket on the porch, and part of a green hedge in the foreground.

    1. Receive your pink bin

After you enroll online, we will deliver your bin to your doorstep. The bin will come with a compostable liner.

  • Person placing a plastic bag into a pink food waste collection bin labeled 'Food Waste Only.'

    2. Put the liner on

Every week, we swap your full bin for a clean one. Before you start putting your scraps, please put the compostable liner on.

  • A person wearing a pink shirt is throwing food scraps into a pink food waste bin in a kitchen.

    3. Put your food scraps inside

You can begin putting your food scraps inside the pink bin. You can deposit veggie peels, fruit scraps, egg shells, grains, and non glossy paper.

  • A black metal gate with decorative scrollwork, flanked by two beige stone pillars, with lantern-style light fixtures on top of each pillar, surrounded by lush green tropical plants and a stone pathway leading inside.

    4. Place the bin outside by 7AM

On your service day, place the bin outside by your doorstep. We will send a reminder sms or email the night before.

  • Person holding a pink bucket labeled 'Food Waste Only' on a sidewalk outdoors with trees and cars in the background.

    5. Our driver will swap it for a clean bin

You will receive a notification with the status once our driver goes by your stop. Status can include: successful, missing (the bin was not outside), inaccessible (the driver wasn’t able to enter your building), or unacceptable (the bin was heavily contaminated).

  • Person planting green seedlings in a white container labeled 'Compost for Life' with a dog in the background.

    6. Claim your compost with a soul

Every 6 months you can log into your portal and claim your free compost. We will deliver it on your next service day.
